Tynnetta Qaiyim

Interim COO at Black Ensemble Theater

Tynnetta Qaiyim has a strong work experience background in various industries. Tynnetta started their career in 1981 as a Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, where they served until 1996. In 1998, they joined John G. Shedd Aquarium as an Assistant Project Manager before transitioning to the role of Project Manager in 2007. From 2009 to 2011, Tynnetta held the positions of Sr. Director, Exhibits and later Vice President, Planning & Design at John G. Shedd Aquarium.
