Javon Reese is currently serving as a Board Member for LAITR and Kevin's Song, focusing on equitable opportunities for justice-involved individuals and raising awareness about suicide prevention, respectively. As a Suicide Prevention Coordinator at Black Family Development, Inc., Javon is responsible for training community members in suicide prevention models to reduce suicide rates in Metro Detroit. Previous experience includes various roles at Eisenhower Center, where duties encompassed providing assistance to clients under medical supervision, as well as a Sales Associate at DICK'S Sporting Goods. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work and Master of Public Health from Wayne State University, a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Eastern Michigan University, and studies in relevant subjects at Washtenaw Community College.
