Lauren Idoko

Senior Manager, Alumni Engagement at Black Girls CODE

Lauren Idoko has held various roles in education and alumni engagement. Lauren started their career as a Recruitment Coordinator and Teacher at Harlem Village Academies before moving onto roles such as Dean of Student and Family Affairs at the same institution. Lauren also taught at Gyeongju Elementary School and Greenleaf Elementary School before becoming a Teacher at KIPP Freedom Elementary. Currently, Lauren is serving as Director and Senior Program Manager of Alumnae Engagement at Black Girls Code. Lauren holds a Bachelor's degree in Policy Analysis and Management from Cornell University and a Master's Degree in Urban Education and Leadership from Loyola Marymount University.
