Joseph Moon, MS

Joseph Moon, MS has extensive work experience in the fields of forensic biomechanics, sports and human performance, and academia. Joseph is currently working as a Lecturer at Weston Distance Learning. Prior to this, they worked as a Forensic Biomechanical Engineer at Moon Forensic Consulting and as a Director of Sports and Human Performance | Sr. Research Associate at Black Lab Sports, LLC. Joseph has also worked as a Forensic Biomechanical Analyst at VA Forensics, where they provided expert services in injury analysis and accident reconstruction. In academia, Joseph has worked as a Lecturer at The University of Saint Katherine and California State University San Marcos. Joseph has also worked as a Biomechanical Research Engineer at Sony Electronics. Earlier in their career, Joseph gained experience as a Physical Therapy Aide at b project Physical Therapy and as a Laboratory Assistant and Research Assistant at California State University San Marcos. Joseph began their career serving in the US Navy as a Security Watch Commander.

Joseph Moon, MS began their education at California State University San Marcos in 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Joseph successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2016. Afterward, Joseph continued their higher education at the same institution, enrolling in the Master's of Kinesiology program. From 2016 to 2018, they specialized in Biomechanics/Motor Control & Exercise Physiology, earning a Master's degree in the field.
