Kun Deng

Kun Deng is the VP of Application Engineering at Black Sesame Technologies Inc. Kun has over fifteen years of experience in the engineering field, with a focus on product development and autonomous driving.

Kun Deng started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they worked for five years and five months. Kun then became a Research Intern at Siemens Corporate Research for four months before becoming a Research Intern at Robert Bosch, LLC for an additional four months.

After their time as an intern, Kun became a Project Engineer at Whirlpool Corporation, where they worked for one year and five months. Kun then transitioned to Ford Motor Company, where they worked as a Product Development Engineer for three years and five months. Kun’s most recent position before joining Black Sesame Technologies was Chief Engineer, L4 Autonomous Driving, Senior Technical Expert at GEELY, where they worked for two years and nine months.
