Yuekun(Charlie) Zhang

Yuekun (Charlie) Zhang's work experience includes roles as a Senior Staff Digital Design Engineer at Black Sesame Technologies Inc since February 2019. Prior to that, they worked at OmniVision Technologies, Inc. as a Staff Digital Design Engineer and CMOS sensor digital project lead from November 2012 to February 2019. Yuekun(Charlie)'sresponsibilities in this role included designing and debugging CMOS image sensor chips, conducting Verilog RTL coding and verification, synthesis, STA, formal verification, ATPG, power analysis, and post-simulation tasks. Yuekun(Charlie) also handled system control of the image sensor design, integrated required IP's into the design, and delivered finalized sensor projects. Before their work at OmniVision Technologies, Inc., they were an MS Student at The University of Texas at Dallas from August 2010 to May 2012. Zhang earned their Bachelor's degree in 2010 from Peking University, where they studied as a student from September 2006 to June 2010.

Yuekun (Charlie) Zhang completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Peking University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Yuekun(Charlie) then pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in the same field at The University of Texas at Dallas, attending from 2010 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Yuekun obtained a certification in Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in June 2020.
