Seth Kopka

Seth Kopka has worked for various companies and gained experience in the architecture and design industry. From 2013 to 2018, they held educational internships and part-time positions. In 2018, they joined Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) as an Architectural Designer, where they contributed to conceptual and schematic design work. At Goettsch Partners, starting in 2019, Seth worked as a Design Architect, responsible for bringing design concepts into 3D reality. Seth collaborated closely with the Design Director and was part of a four-person team. Notable projects included an Office Campus Project in Qiagoa, China, and HQ Tower in Wuhan, China. Most recently, Seth joined Black Spectacles in 2022, first as an Associate Account Executive and then as a Community Growth Coordinator.

Seth Kopka completed their Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies, specializing in Architecture, at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2011 to 2015. Seth further pursued their education at the University of Michigan, where they obtained a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree in Architecture from 2016 to 2018.
