S. Brent O'Daniel

S. Brent O'Daniel, P.E., PMP, has extensive experience in project management and engineering, specializing in electric vehicle charging infrastructure, smart integrated infrastructure, and utility automation. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Black & Veatch since August 2006, O'Daniel has successfully managed various EPC projects across the US and Canada, focusing on budget, schedule, and client relations. Previous roles include Project Manager for Smart Integrated Infrastructure, Utility Automation Project Manager, and Utility Automation Project Engineer, demonstrating a strong background in communication systems, grid modernization, and control system design. Prior to Black & Veatch, O'Daniel held engineering positions at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Duke/Fluor Daniel, and other companies, contributing to power plant and substation projects. O'Daniel earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
