Matthew Bannon

Matthew Bannon is currently an Electorate Officer at the Parliament of Australia since August 2023 and has been a Student Ambassador for the Melbourne Connect Program at the University of Melbourne since July 2022, advising students and parents on academic opportunities. Additionally, Matthew serves as a Student Ambassador at the University of Melbourne and worked as a Residential Assistant at Little Hall, focusing on peer leadership and event coordination. Matthew also operates as a Bartender at Black & White Waiters since February 2023 and is involved with the Westminster Bridge Network through the British Consulate General, engaging in professional networking and discussions on global issues. Previous experience includes working as a Food and Beverage Attendant with Spotless Group and a brief work experience at the British Consulate General in 2019, where administrative and strategic tasks were undertaken. Matthew is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Melbourne, expected to graduate in November 2025, following education at Princes Hill Secondary College.
