Claire McNaught

Claire joined the firm in June 2022 as an Associate Solicitor in the Executries Department in Glasgow and deals with Executries, Wills, Powers of Attorney and Trusts. Claire completed her law degree and Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde graduating in 2007. Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2010, Claire has gained valuable experience in many aspects of Private Client work, including the administration of estates, inheritance tax and lifetime planning work, the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney and the administration of trusts. Claire also has experience in residential conveyancing.

Claire is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) which is a global professional association for practitioners who specialise in family inheritance and succession planning.

Claire was a tutor on the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde where she taught students on the Advanced Private Client Module in 2017 and 2018.
