Deneen Defiore

Deneen DeFiore is a seasoned executive in information security and technology, currently serving as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at United Airlines since January 2020. With extensive experience in high-impact roles, Deneen holds several notable positions, including Council Member at the White House National Infrastructure Advisory Council and Chairperson of the Cybersecurity Council at Airlines for America. Deneen contributes as a board member for organizations such as Blackbaud, the Internet Security Alliance, and the Aviation Information Sharing and Analysis Center, where a focus on aviation security is paramount. Deneen previously led global information security initiatives at GE Aviation and established the Information Security Technology Center at General Electric, advancing capabilities in cyber intelligence and risk management. Deneen holds an Executive Certificate in Public Policy from Harvard Business School and a BS in Biology from Kent State University.
