Richard Kruegler

Richard Kruegler is a highly experienced legal professional with a strong background in contract negotiation and management. Currently serving as Senior Counsel and Manager of the Sales Contracting Team at Blackbaud since March 2021, Richard has previously held roles such as Counsel at Blackbaud, where responsibilities included negotiating SaaS contracts, and as a Freelance Commercial Contracts Attorney and Consultant at Frost & Kruegler, LLC. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Capital One as Sr. Manager, Contract Specialist, negotiating complex commercial contracts, and a partnership at Durrette, Irvin and Bradshaw, PLC, where a wide range of legal matters were handled. Richard began the legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk at Richmond Circuit Court after earning a J.D. from the College of William & Mary and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from George Mason University.
