Veerle Koeken

Veerle Koeken has a diverse work experience in various industries. Veerle started their career as a Sales Employee at HEMA in 2014 and then worked as an Allround Employee at ijssalon Kees from 2014 to 2019. In 2019, they became a Teaching Assistant at KlasseStudent, where they assisted in teaching activities. Veerle then joined the University of Twente in 2018 and held multiple roles, including Callteam Employee in the Marketing & Communication department and Learning Assistant & Tutor for Biomedical Technology and Industrial Engineering students. Additionally, they worked as a Student Assistant for Behavioural, Management, and Social Sciences (BMS). Veerle later worked as a Graduate Intern at Radboudumc from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are working as a Business Challenge Solver at blackbear, a role they started in 2021. Veerle is also a Healthcare-IT Consultant (working student) at ChipSoft.

Veerle Koeken began their education in 2010 at Strabrecht College, where they completed their Atheneum degree in Natuur & Techniek en Natuur & Gezondheid in 2016. Veerle then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedische technologie (Biomedical engineering) at the University of Twente from 2016 to 2019. In 2021, Veerle participated in an exchange program at Universidad Pontificia Comillas, where they studied Industrial Engineering. Currently, Veerle is pursuing their Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management at the University of Twente, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
