Vijay Tamanam

Vijay Tamanam is an experienced software engineer currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at BlackBerry since November 2015, working within the BlackBerry CEM Innovation Center. Prior to this role, Vijay held various positions including Distinguished Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer while contributing to the Good Collaboration Suite for Android clients. Between May 2013 and November 2015, Vijay was a Senior Software Engineer at Good Technology, focusing on secure access to documents on mobile devices. Earlier experience includes working at LiveWire Mobile, Inc. and EA, as well as developing the CricketZone application for Teleparadigm Networks Ltd. Vijay holds a Master's degree in Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
