John David Uy

John David Uy is a Senior Programmer at Blackbird Interactive since November 2021, contributing to projects such as Homeworld 3, Hardspace Shipbreaker, and Earthless. Additionally, John serves as an Unreal Authorized Instructor partner for Epic Games. Previously, John held the position of Head Lecturer - Game Development at MAGES Institute of Excellence, where John project managed notable final projects and created a new Diploma in Game Technology course. With extensive experience in game development and programming, John has also held key roles at QN Software, Zealot Digital, and Emerging Entertainment, among others, demonstrating proficiency in various programming languages and game engine development. John earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from De La Salle University.
