Oliver Parker

Oliver Parker is the Chief Commercial Officer at Blackbird. Prior to joining Blackbird, they served as the Regional Sales Manager for EMEA at ChyronHego from January 2011 to October 2018. In this role, they were responsible for Broadcast Sales in the UK, Ireland, France, Middle East and Africa. This included direct sales to large and small clients, as well as channel partner management in non-UK territories. Among the key accounts were Sky, BT Sport, BBC and ITV.

Oliver has a strong technical pre-sales background that enables him to support all sales routes with technical knowledge and first-hand experience of broadcast workflows. Prior to their role at ChyronHego, Oliver worked as a Live Studio Graphics Operator at BSkyB from September 2006 to January 2011. Before that, they were an Editor / Camera Operator at Mama Productions from June 2005 to September 2006.

Oliver Parker attended Oxford Brookes University, where they studied English Literature. Oliver specialized in English Language and Literature, with a focus on the works of William Shakespeare.
