Wouter van Veen's work experience begins in 2015 when they joined SOUNDBOKS as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator, where they played a key role in orchestrating a successful Kickstarter campaign. Wouter then progressed within the company, taking on roles such as Sales & Marketing Manager, E-Commerce Director, and Global Performance Marketing and Digital Director. In these positions, Wouter was responsible for driving growth strategies, overseeing operations, and managing global teams. In 2019, they became a Boardmember and Digital Consultant for Cheapassbikes.nl and Recovelo, where they focused on promoting sustainability through offering refurbished bicycles. Additionally, Wouter worked as a Consultant at W. Consultancy. Finally, they are currently serving as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Blackbox Media, where they are responsible for all commercial clients and operations in the Youth Culture space.
Wouter van Veen holds a Master's degree in Organisational Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Copenhagen Business School, which they obtained between the years 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics and Business Economics from Utrecht University from 2012 to 2015. Wouter obtained a VWO diploma in Economie en Maatschappij from ORS Lek en Linge between 2007 and 2012. Wouter has additional certifications of MSocSc in Organisational Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Copenhagen Business School, and a Bachelor Economics & Business Economics from Utrecht University.
