Barry Riley has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, with their most recent role being the Vice President of Land & Business Development at Blackbuck Resources since August 2019. Prior to that, they worked at ConocoPhillips as a Staff Surface Landman from August 2013 to August 2019. Before joining ConocoPhillips, they worked at ExxonMobil, specializing in negotiating complex mineral valuations with state and local agencies. During their time at ExxonMobil from January 2007 to July 2013, they primarily worked on Enhanced Oil Recovery projects in Texas and also handled valuations for a major refinery complex.
Barry Riley began their education in 2003 at Sam Houston State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance. Barry attended this university until 2005. Later, in 2005, Barry enrolled at Texas A&M University to pursue a Master's degree in Land Economics and Real Estate. Barry completed their studies at Texas A&M University in 2006.
