Justin Love

Justin Love is a seasoned executive with more than 14 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He is the CEO of Blackbuck Resources LLC, former CEO of Xedia Process Solutions, and founder of Love Energy Advisors (LEA). He has a demonstrated track record of creating enterprise value as an entrepreneur in the sector. This is shown through him founding and leading three existing companies over the last six years, two of which have reached successful exits.

Among Justin’s industry awards are the Texas Oil and Gas Awards’ New Technology of the Year 2018 and ACG Houston’s Deal of the Year 2018/2020. In its third year of business, he led Blackbuck to being named #289 on the Inc5000 fastest growing private companies in America list and #8 on the Houston Business Journal Fast100 list. Additionally, he was named as Forty Under 40 in Oil & Gas Investors Magazine in 2019.

Love began his career as an engineer at Schlumberger and eventually joined Pentair, where he spent most of his time as global market development manager. During his time at Pentair, he played an integral role in launching their global upstream energy business. In addition to acting as a resident subject matter expert in the field of oilfield water management, he led efforts to identify and evaluate M&A targets, earning his designation as a leading global subject matter expert in the field. Justin later leveraged his broad career experience and developed relationships to found an energy-water-focused advisory firm, LEA. As president of LEA, Love provided consulting and origination services for the technology companies, investors, and oil & gas producers focused on the energy-water nexus. As a widely recognized subject matter expert speaker, Justin has shared his expertise with audiences in nearly 30 countries on six continents.

Love graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
