Matt Gardiner

Matt Gardiner is an experienced football coach with a solid background in management and sales. Currently serving as the Assistant Head Coach at Blackburn Rovers Football Club since February 2024, Gardiner previously held similar roles at Birmingham City FC and QPR FC. Other coaching positions include Assistant Manager and Head of Coaching at Kidderminster Harriers Football Club and Joint Manager at Worcester City Football Club. Gardiner's prior experience also encompasses various sales management roles in the automotive and financial sectors, culminating in expertise as a National Sales Manager at Hitachi. With educational credentials including a Diploma of Education in Football Management from the University of Liverpool and a Master of Science in Sports Directorship from the University of Salford, Gardiner combines practical coaching experience with academic knowledge in sports management.
