Barbara H. Whye

Barbara H. Whye is a seasoned technology executive with over 25 years of experience in engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors at BlackLine since April 2021, Barbara previously held the position of Vice President of Inclusion and Diversity at Apple from February 2021 to July 2024, where efforts focused on enhancing diverse representation and fostering an inclusive culture. Prior to Apple, Barbara was the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at Intel Corporation, and led significant initiatives including the $300 million Diversity in Technology initiative and the global education portfolio for the Intel Foundation. Barbara holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Ethics from Arizona State University and has completed executive education at Stanford University.
