Mark Wayland is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in programming and graphics development across various platforms. Currently employed at Blackmagic Design since August 2017, Mark previously held positions as a graphics programmer at Big Ant Studios and as a senior programmer at Torus Games, where expertise in rendering technologies was demonstrated. Earlier professional milestones include senior programming roles at Electronic Arts, contributing to C/C++ and HLSL/Cg programming, and a significant tenure at Torus Games, where core technologies were developed for multiple gaming platforms. Mark began a programming career at Sausage Software, working on Java and Delphi projects. Mark holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science with a focus on instrumentation from Swinburne University of Technology.
