Rana Makki

Rana Makki is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and project coordination, currently serving as a Senior Associate at Blackpeak, an international investigative research firm, since January 2022. Previously, Rana held positions ranging from Associate to Researcher at Blackpeak, and worked as a Junior Researcher/Project Coordinator at the Centre for Lebanese Studies. Additional roles include Curriculum Writer at Rising Academy Network, Project Manager at Citizenship League, and Junior Research Assistant at The Asfari Institute for Civil Society and Citizenship, contributing to programs focused on culture and activism in the Arab world. Earlier experience includes roles as Language and Politics Expert at Expert System USA, Field Researcher at Oxfam, and Food Security and Livelihoods Assistant at Save the Children International. Rana holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy and International Affairs and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the American University of Beirut.
