Nevan Beal

Nevan Beal is currently an MDR Analyst at Blackpoint Cyber since February 2024 and serves as an Ambassador for Hack The Box, as well as an Apprentice at The Neon Temple, both roles starting in May 2022. Previously, Nevan worked as a Cyber Threat Analyst at Raymond James from January 2023 to January 2024 and as an IT Security Analyst from May 2022 to July 2022. Additional experience includes a brief role as Script Squiddy at Industrious Kraken, where skills in AWS, security research, cloud management, and scripting were developed, as well as serving as President of Root@UT, fostering peer collaboration in cybersecurity activities. Nevan's involvement as a Cyber Security Student Assistant at the University of Tampa, coupled with a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from the same institution, reflects a strong foundation in the field.
