Jason Mercurio is an accomplished professional in the entertainment and event management sectors, currently serving as the General Manager of The Arena and Globe Theater at Blackpool Pleasure Beach since April 2023, where responsibilities include implementing strategic goals, operational policy setting, and budget management. With a prolonged tenure at Horror Nights Traumatica since June 2009, Jason specializes in creative audio SFX design for themed attractions. Previous experience includes roles as a Show Technician at Pyrotecnico, Guitarist in Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, and various positions at Universal Orlando Resort, where extensive television and film production experience was gained. Jason's education in audio engineering from the Audio Recording Technology Institute, coupled with certifications in personal licensing and security, complement a diverse skill set in entertainment production and customer service.
