Rukayat Akintola

Rukayat Akintola is an experienced professional with a strong background in compliance and financial services. Currently serving as an Ambassador at Black Professionals Scotland since December 2022, Rukayat supports organizations in achieving their inclusion and diversity goals. Previously, Rukayat worked as a Senior AML Compliance Analyst at 9PSB_NG from October 2021 to October 2022, conducting internal investigations and reviewing suspicious transactions. Rukayat also served as a Compliance Analyst at Fidelity Bank PLC from November 2019 to October 2021, where the focus was on digital transaction monitoring and collaboration with compliance teams. Rukayat holds a Master's degree in Financial Technology from the University of Aberdeen, an MSc in Energy Finance from the University of Ibadan, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Al-Hikmah University.
