Matthieu Couriol

Matthieu Couriol currently serves as Hardware Team Lead and Electrical Engineer III at Blackrock Neurotech since October 2023. Previously, Matthieu held the role of Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Utah College of Engineering from May 2019 to September 2023, where research focused on the design and fabrication of a novel ASIC for monitoring high-resistance sensors. Matthieu’s experience includes a Research Intern position that involved designing an ADC architecture for nanofibre sensors, an internship at Apple where electronic design for Watch Touch behaviors was enhanced, and a role at Blackrock Microsystems leading ASIC designs for brain interfaces. Additionally, Matthieu contributed to improving medical ECG devices during an R&D internship at Centralp. Educational credentials include a PhD and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah, alongside a Master's degree in Electronics from CPE Lyon.
