Geoffrey Urlanda

Geoffrey Urlanda is a Vice President and Lead Data Engineer at BlackRock, contributing to the development and support of data processing pipelines using technologies such as Python, Informatica, and cloud solutions since April 2009. With experience in partnering with content experts and investment teams, Geoffrey has a strong focus on designing and deploying new data capabilities, particularly for Scientific Active Equity and Model Based Fixed Income businesses. Prior to BlackRock, Geoffrey served as a Solutions Consultant at Info Alchemy Corporation, where responsibilities included system design and implementation for analytic applications. Geoffrey is recognized as a champion of the BlackRock Hackathon in 2014-2015 for enhancing business processes. Geoffrey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines, completed in 2003.
