Jakie Blunt

Jakie Blunt is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience across various roles and organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Cyber Security Operations at BlackRock since June 2024, Jakie previously held the position of Cyber Threat Analyst at The Allére Group, where responsibilities included monitoring and analyzing potential security threats using advanced tools. Jakie's earlier experience includes roles as a Cyber Security Engineer at AUSGAR Technologies INC and Centurum, focusing on compliance and security testing within the Risk Management Framework. Additional experience includes tenure as a Field Engineer at System Technologies, where successful email migrations were coordinated, and as an Information Management Officer, overseeing IT security and support functions. Jakie also provided training on secure communication systems to Armed Forces personnel. Jakie holds an Advanced Diploma from the Advanced Technology Center and an Advanced Diploma from Landstown High School.
