Rory O'Connor

Rory O'Connor is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and corporate finance. Currently serving as Managing Director and Global Chief Investment Officer of BlackRock Climate Infrastructure since March 2011, Rory O'Connor oversees significant investment initiatives focused on climate-related projects. Prior to this role, Rory O'Connor was part of the Group Executive Management Team at NTR plc from February 2004 to February 2011, where responsibilities included Group Treasurer and Head of Corporate Finance, managing over $6 billion in investment transactions. Rory O'Connor's previous experience also includes key positions at Elan Corporation, where a financial and strategic restructuring program was executed, and at Morgan Stanley in investment banking. Educational credentials include an Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School, an MBA from INSEAD, and a Bachelor of Commerce (International) from University College Dublin.
