Salman Somjee

Salman Somjee is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in compensation and project leadership. Currently serving as Director of Compensation at BlackRock since May 2021, Salman previously held the role of Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group from January 2018 to May 2021. An earlier tenure at Bain & Company as a Summer Associate in 2016 and a Vice President position at BlackRock from 2010 to 2015 further underscore Salman's expertise in the finance sector. Salman also gained valuable experience as a Summer Intern at Northern Trust Corporation in 2009 and served as a National Service Police Inspector with the Singapore Police Force from January 2004 to June 2006, managing promotions and awards for a significant division. Salman holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and History from Columbia University.
