Sarah Thompson

Sarah Thompson, CFA, has over 25 years of experience in financial analysis and investment management. Currently serving as Managing Director at BlackRock since October 2013, Sarah oversees significant investment strategies while managing a team of analysts. Prior to this role, Sarah spent five years at Barclays as Managing Director and Head of the US Distressed Desk Analyst Group, where responsibilities included managing proprietary positions and providing insight across various sectors. Sarah’s career began at KPMG US and included significant roles at Lehman Brothers, where notable achievements included ranking highly in Institutional Investor Magazine across multiple sectors. Sarah holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Georgetown University.
