Kevin Silbert

Kevin Silbert currently serves as the Director of Engineering at BlackSea Technologies, a position held since May 2025. Prior to this role, Kevin held various positions at Maritime Applied Physics Corporation from January 2002 to May 2025, including Engineering Manager, Group Manager, Principal Engineer, and Program Manager, focusing on technical design and engineering for military and commercial products. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior CAD/CAM/CAE Applications Engineer at TriMech Solutions from July 1998 to January 2002, where Kevin developed expertise in SolidWorks and provided technical support and training. Kevin also worked as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Fusion UV Systems, Inc. from 1993 to 1997, overseeing the design and assembly of custom industrial curing systems. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland between 1987 and 1992.
