Paul Simpson

Paul Simpson currently serves as the Director of Security for Kaiser Permanente, overseeing operations in Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties since October 2023. Prior to this role, Paul held the position of Security Program Manager at Blackstone Consulting, Inc., managing security teams for Kaiser Permanente since September 2022. Paul brings a wealth of experience from previous roles, including District Manager at Securitas Security Services USA, overseeing security for multiple Kaiser Permanente hospitals, and Security Director at Kaiser Permanente, managing a large security team in a Bay Area hospital. Paul's early career includes positions in emergency dispatch with Scotts Valley Police Department and Marin County Sheriff's Office, as well as various management roles in optical retail and service as a Police Constable in the Metropolitan Police Service in London. Paul is educated in emergency dispatch and completed police training at the Metropolitan Police Training College.
