Christine Losea has extensive experience in financial management, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Blackstone Valley Prep Mayoral Academy since October 2012, where previous roles included Director of Finance and Accounting Manager. Prior to this, Christine was the Finance Director at People Actively Reaching Independence from September 2009 to October 2012 and worked as Accounting Supervisor for the Town of Cumberland from June 2003 to September 2009. Christine also held the position of Finance Director at Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Inc. from December 1998 to September 2000. Christine holds an Executive MBA in Business from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School and a Bachelor of Social Work from Wheelock College.

Blackstone Valley Prep (BVP) is an intentionally diverse network of tuition-free public schools chartered by the Rhode Island Department of Education. BVP offers a high-quality public school choice to the families of Central Falls, Cumberland, Lincoln, and Pawtucket, and currently serves 2,300 scholars, ages 5-22, across six schools.
