Daniel Gibson

Daniel Gibson is an experienced educator with a strong background in mathematics instruction, currently serving as the Founding Math Teacher at Blackstone Valley Prep Mayoral Academy since June 2014. Previous experience includes positions as a Mathematics Teacher at Calcutt Middle School, where Daniel designed and implemented a Common Core-based curriculum, and at Central Falls High School, where instruction involved Algebra II and Geometry. Daniel also has experience as a Teaching Fellow, Director of Tutoring, and private tutor, demonstrating a commitment to supplemental education and student success. Educational credentials include a BA in Philosophy from the University of Richmond and a Certificate in Secondary Mathematics and ESL Instruction from The New Teacher Project Academy.
