Jillian Fitzpatrick

Managing Director, Government Relations at Blackstone

Jillian Fitzpatrick is Managing Director of Government Affairs for Blackstone. She helps navigate political, legislative, and regulatory risk for the firm and its portfolio companies.

Before joining Blackstone, Ms. Fitzpatrick was Head of Global Policy for S&P Global. She previously served as Senior Policy Advisor to U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota and Minority Staff Director for the Banking Subcommittee on National Security and International Trade and Finance. She also served as Policy Director and Transition Director for U.S. Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) and as Economic Policy Advisor for Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT). During the development and passage of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, Jillian worked for Rep. Dan Maffei (D-NY-25) on the House Financial Services Committee.

Jillian is currently co-chair of the Duke University Politics and Policy Network and a board member of the Purple Campaign Foundation. She holds a B.A. from Duke University in Durham, NC and an M.A. from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
