Michael Zawadzki

Michael Zawadzki is a Senior Managing Director of Blackstone and is Co-Head of Energy Investing for Blackstone Credit. Mr. Zawadzki sits on the investment committees for Blackstone Credit’s energy funds, performing credit funds and distressed funds. Prior to joining Blackstone Credit, then known as GSO Capital Partners, in 2006 Mr. Zawadzki was with Citigroup Private Equity, where he completed numerous private equity and subordinated debt investments. Previously, Mr. Zawadzki worked in the investment banking division of Salomon Smith Barney. Mr. Zawadzki serves on the board of directors (as a director or observer) of Sequel Energy Group, Elevation Midstream, Genesis Energy, C&J Energy Services, 3Bear Energy, Twin Eagle Resource Management, Targa Badlands, Alta Resources and Community Development Capital Group. Mr. Zawadzki graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
