Heather G

Heather G has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Heather currently works at Discreet Investigation Services as a Cyber Investigations role starting from January 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Project Team Lead at Blackswan Cybersecurity, LLC starting from December 2021. Heather also worked in the field of Digital Facilitated Abuse research and security consulting at Computer/ Network Services from August 2019 onwards. Additionally, they had a role in Commerce/ gaming at Chickasaw Nation starting from June 2019. Heather G is also the Co-Founder of North Texas Women's Resource Group since March 2017, where they focused on preventing and protecting victims of Domestic Violence and researched tools for detecting Digital Domestic abuse and stalking. Earlier in their career, they co-owned an Oil/Gas Resource Services company from December 2006 to November 2018 and was involved in Service dog training from November 1997 to August 2018.

Heather G has a diverse education history. Heather began their educational journey in 1997 at Colorado State University Pueblo, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Data Analysis. Heather successfully completed their studies in 2001.

Years later, in 2020, Heather attended North Central Texas College, where they aimed to obtain an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Cybersecurity. Heather completed their program in 2022.

Continuing to advance in their field, in 2022, Heather enrolled at the SANS Technology Institute, focusing on Cybersecurity. While the duration of their program is ongoing, they have not yet obtained a specific degree.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Heather has obtained certifications in the field of Cybersecurity. In March 2023, they received the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) from GIAC Certifications. It is worth noting that they also hold a certification titled "Security Essentials: Network, Endpoint, and Cloud," which lacks specific information regarding the date and institution of completion.
