Avishka Balasuriya

Avishka Balasuriya has work experience as a Backend Engineer (Python) at BlackSwan Technologies since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Python Developer at iLabs from August 2020 to June 2021. Avishka also had a role as a Software Engineering Trainee at Bizorient.io from August 2019 to August 2020. Before that, they were self-employed as a Software Engineer from May 2018 to August 2020.

Avishka Balasuriya began their education in 2014 at SLIIT, where they pursued a Certificate Program in IT Applications with a focus on ICT. They completed this program in 2015. In 2017, Avishka Balasuriya enrolled at the National Institute of Business Management and obtained a Dip in Computer System Design in 2018. Following this, they continued their studies at the same institution and completed a Higher Diploma in Computer Based Information Systems in 2019.

Avishka Balasuriya then enrolled in Coventry University in 2019 and pursued a Bsc(Hons) in Computing with a specialization in Computer Science. This program lasted until 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Avishka Balasuriya obtained two certifications. In May 2019, they completed a PHP Tutorial Course provided by SoloLearn. They also completed a jQuery Tutorial Course from SoloLearn in the same month and year.
