Erica Lijtztain

Erica Lijtztain has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector, with a focus on risk management. Erica currently serves as EVP & Chief Operating Officer at Bladex, a Latin American bank based in Panama City. Prior to their current role, Erica served as Gerente Ejecutivo de Gestión de Riesgos at Banco Patagonia from November 2001 to March 2017. In this role, they were responsible for the Bank's overall risk management, including liquidity, market, interest rate, credit, reputational, strategic, operational, and technological risks. Erica also oversaw compliance with internal bank regulations as well as regulation from Banco Central and other financial institution regulatory bodies. Additionally, they conducted special investigations into customer and employee fraud.
