Michael Glavind

Michael Glavind has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Michael is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Bladt Industries A/S. Previously, they worked at DEME Offshore DK A/S, where they held the positions of Board Member and CEO/Business Unit Director for WTG & O&M. During their time at DEME Offshore, they successfully integrated and rebranded A2Sea into the DEME Group and played a key role in developing and executing a growth strategy for the WTG and O&M activities. Michael also served as a Member of the Board at Wind Denmark. Prior to that, they held the role of CEO at CT OFFSHORE and served on the Board. Michael had a long tenure at A2SEA, where they held the positions of CFO and Finance Director. Michael started their career at KPMG as an Auditor, where they gained experience working with various companies, including SMEs and listed companies.

Michael Glavind has a diverse education history. Michael first attended Aarhus University from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Business Administration. Michael then pursued further studies at the same university from 1995 to 1997, obtaining a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Auditing. Continuing their education, from 1998 to 2001, Michael attended Aarhus University again, this time earning a Master's Degree in Finance, General. In order to enhance their professional skills, they enrolled at Henley Business School from 2006 to 2009, completing a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on executive education. Later on, in 2020, Michael Glavind attended Birn+Partners for an Executive Board Education program.
