Sami Gerdt

Sami Gerdt has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sami began their career as an English Teacher at English School Annie, teaching various age groups. Sami then worked at Tranzas as a Software Developer, where they were involved in embedded/linux systems programming and software development. Sami then joined Digia as a Software Engineer, followed by a role as a Senior Software Developer at Nomovok Ltd., where they worked on Linux systems programming and engineering. At Blancco Technology Group, Sami served as the R&D Manager and later as the APAC R&D Director. In these roles, they participated in global technical projects, project coordination, cooperation activities, software engineering, and innovation. Additionally, they worked on programming mobile applications and served as the R&D presence in Japan. Sami also had research roles at the University of Joensuu, where they developed software for networking and linguistics projects. Overall, Sami's work experience highlights their expertise in software development, project coordination, and leadership in the APAC region.

Sami Gerdt pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Eastern Finland and Joensuun yliopisto from 1999 to 2007.
