Karen George

Karen George has a diverse work experience in various industries. Karen currently serves as the Chief Development Officer at Blanchard Valley Health System, where they lead the foundation to secure philanthropic support for the health system and region. Previously, they worked as the Senior Director of Advancement at The University of Findlay from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they were the Corporate Relations Manager at Imagination Station, Toledo's Science Center, where they developed the corporate strategic plan and generated over $5,000,000 in contributed revenue. Additionally, they have experience as a Media Consultant at Emmis Communications, where they secured sponsorship, developed contracts, and sold radio advertising and event sponsorships.

Karen George has a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from The Ohio State University. Karen also holds a Master of Arts degree in Professional Communication from The University of Findlay.
