Tuleah Palmer has an extensive background in community development and advocacy, with experience working in various organizations such as Blandin Foundation, Northwest Indian Community Development Center, Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe, Boys & Girls Club of the Leech Lake Area, Beltrami County, Northwoods Coalition for Family Safety, Inc., and Minnesota Program Development. Tuleah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Bemidji State University.
