Iain Twine has extensive work experience in various leadership and executive roles. Iain is the Founder & Managing Partner of Harrup Advisory since June 2019. Additionally, Twine is a Partner at HyperKu since October 2021.

Previously, Twine served as the Non-Executive Director & CCO of BLAST from October 2019. Iain played a crucial role in creating world-class content across multiple esports properties and channels. One of their flagship properties was BLAST PREMIER, a global circuit of tournaments for Counter-Strike:GO.

Before that, Twine held several roles at Edelman. Iain served as the Vice Chairman of Reputation from May 2017 to May 2019, leading 700 people across Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa. Prior to this, they were the CEO of Edelman South East Asia and Australasia, responsible for managing 5 businesses across the region and expanding the company's proposition beyond communications.

Twine also worked as the General Manager for Middle East and Africa at Edelman from October 2008 to May 2013. Iain started their career at Edelman as an Associate Director in the Corporate UK division, contributing to the success of the corporate practice.

Earlier in their career, Twine was a Senior Project Officer at the Local Government Association, where they developed policy papers and worked directly with the CEO. Iain also worked as the Deputy CEO at Tambo Shire Council, overseeing finance and economic development functions. Twine began their career as the GST Policy Officer and Economic Development Specialist at LGAQ, where they actively advocated for Queensland local government.

Iain Twine completed their high school qualifications from The Southport School between 1989 and 1995. From 1996 to 1999, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Politics at The University of Queensland.
