James Woollard has a diverse work experience in various companies. James started their career at Integrated Security Consultants Limited in 2013, where they worked in operations support and was involved in strategic planning and staffing for major events at Wembley National Stadium. James then moved on to the Wembley Stadium Centre of Excellence, where they served as a project and bid manager, delivering projects to notable clients such as the Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee and the Dubai 2020 Expo. James later became the lead coordinator at the same company, managing high-level consultancy and training projects.

In 2016, Woollard joined Wilson James, a leading security and business services provider, as a bid manager and progressed to lead bid manager. James was responsible for managing and contributing to comprehensive proposals throughout the tender process, including designing mobilization strategies and identifying innovative solutions for clients. James also served as the head of strategic projects and proposals, overseeing a team and delivering solutions to clients operating across various industries.

From 2019 to 2022, Woollard worked at FIFA, initially as a project planning and integration manager, coordinating and integrating projects, tournaments, and events on a global scale. James then assumed the role of senior process and planning manager, where they optimized processes, identified opportunities for innovation, and managed and delivered solutions projects.

Most recently, Woollard joined BLAST, a leading global Esports network, as the head of commercial solutions. In this role, they are responsible for growing the company's offering by delivering global events, partnerships, sponsorships, and new commercial possibilities for their Esports leagues and events. James works closely with the management team to find innovative ways to elevate BLAST Premier to new levels.

James Woollard has a diverse education history. In 2001, they attended The Latymer School in Edmonton and completed their High School education, focusing on English, History, and Politics A Levels. James then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of York, starting in 2009 and completing it in 2012.

Afterward, James attended UCL from 2012 to 2013 and obtained a Master's Degree in International Security Studies. James furthered their education by enrolling in The Open University in 2018 and is expected to graduate in 2026 with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Senior Leadership.

In addition to their formal education, James has secured several certifications. James obtained a Prince2 Foundation certification from BCS in August 2015, scoring 91%. James also acquired a Prince2 Practitioner certification from BCS in the same period, achieving an 80% score. Furthermore, they have various certifications from LinkedIn in areas such as Business Process Improvement, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Learning Azure DevOps, Software Project Management Foundations, Strategic Thinking, Succeeding in DevOps, and Transitioning from Waterfall to Agile Project Management.
