About the Role

We are seeking a driven and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and support the day-to-day operations of our Murarrie QLD branch on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the QLD General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of 5 members across our service, rental, and logistics departments, ensuring that the branch’s internal operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise operations and service personnel in accordance with organisational and Australian standards.
• Identify, plan, and execute strategies to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Oversee the implementation and administration of Salesforce’s rental system to the broader QLD team.
• Lead by example to promote the value of a high level of customer satisfaction through the delivery of exceptional service provisions.
• Spearhead initiatives for ongoing improvement to streamline operations, cut costs, and enhance operational efficiencies.
• Maintain and deliver precise performance, DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time), and safety reports to senior management.
• Act as a pivotal leader within the team, offering support to the General Manager and various departments when necessary.

About You

To be successful in this role you will be a hands-on leader who has proven experience managing, mentoring, and supporting staff to optimise performance and operational efficiencies, ideally within the manufacturing, logistics, industrial, or similar industry. You will also have the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders in line with BlastOne’s key values. Other key determinants include:

• 5+ years of experience as an Operations Manager or similar position.
• A tertiary qualification in business operations, management, or a similar field (desirable).
• Strong people and organisational management skills.
• Lead by example to inspire, motivate, and promote a positive and productive work environment.
• Proficient computer skills including the use of MS Office 365.
• Experience with operational CRM systems (preferably Netsuite and Salesforce).
• Results-driven to continually meet branch KPI’s, improve operational efficiencies, and enhance team performance.
