Ambree Stancil has a diverse range of work experience in accounting and business operations. Ambree started their career as a Revenue Accountant at Norfolk Southern in 1997 and then moved on to work as a Staff Accountant for the Atlanta Braves from 2001 to 2008. At the Atlanta Braves, they gained exposure to various accounting functions, including financial statement preparation and audit. Following that, Ambree served as the Accounting and Business Operations Manager for the Atlanta Dream (WNBA) from 2008 to 2012, where they managed all aspects of accounting and developed accounting principles and business operations procedures. Ambree then worked as an Accountant at Ogilvy & Mather from 2012 to 2013, before joining Turner Broadcasting System - Turner Sports as a Senior Accountant. In this role, Ambree managed day-to-day accounting activities and contributed to month-end close processes. In 2016, they transitioned to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where they worked as an Accountant until 2019. Currently, Ambree is employed at Blavity Inc. as a Senior Accountant, and recently took on the additional responsibility of Manager, A/P and Payroll in October 2021.
Ambree Stancil completed their Bachelor of Science in Accounting from South Carolina State University between 1993 and 1997. Ambree then pursued further education and obtained an MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Mercer University between 2001 and 2002.
