Ethan Kwan

Ethan Kwan has several years of work experience in various roles and industries. In 2018, they co-founded Need Westwood and served as a Co-Founder until January 2019. During this time, Ethan also worked as a Data Engineer at UCLA Anderson School of Management, where they collaborated with a team to develop a product prototype and implemented a User-User Filtering algorithm. Ethan presented their work at the Anderson Product Innovation Challenge. Additionally, in 2018, Ethan worked as a Marketing Associate at Miramontes Capital, where they organized outreach events and analyzed market trends.

In 2019, Ethan joined the UCLA Cannabis Research Initiative as a Cannabis Research Intern, conducting research in the field. Ethan also worked at OpenNest as a Product Development Engineer, contributing to product development efforts until January 2020. At Cannaclub at UCLA, Ethan worked on research and outreach from October 2019 to September 2020.

In 2020, Ethan joined BLAZE as a Software Engineer and later progressed to the role of Software Engineering Team Lead in 2021. Ethan has been leading the software engineering team at BLAZE since June 2021.

Ethan Kwan attended UCLA from 2017 to 2021, majoring in Computer Science.
